Fall/Winter

don’t forget the details!

One of the finishing touches that completes an outfit, yet often goes overlooked, is the pocket square. Pictured below are a few 100% wool options that were made in Italy for us.

just in from allegri

If you really want to stand out this holiday season, try this brand new car coat from Allegri. It’s got a zip-out front lining, heavy duty toggles, a hood, and boasts a beautifully burnt orange water repellent wool fabric.

versatility

While some men only think to don neckwear with a suit, we at Khaki’s believe that a tie can be treated like any other accessory. Especially when constructed of a more casual material, like a wool in the winter or cotton in the summer, a necktie looks great as part of a smart-casual outfit, even with jeans! The trick is to wear it effortlessly, and without giving it much thought. Let the tie be worn, rather than letting it wear you!

outfits

When it comes to clothing, it’s easy to get wrapped up in cool, unique individual pieces. At the end of the day, however, it’s how you combine all of those pieces that truly makes or breaks a look.

toggle

Nothing quite like the classic look of a toggle sweater, done up in cashmere, for the fall. Here’s one that just hit the floor with a contrast shawl and elbow patches:

mason’s

Some of the fall/winter shirts have that heavier, brushed-cotton texture, and the ones from Mason’s are totally unique! Here’s a peek at a vintage inspired mini-floral that we just got in:

brioni outerwear

Here’s a close-up of the newest Brioni fall/winter jacket. It sports storm-system wool in navy twill , a zip-out inner layer of grey virgin wool, chocolate suede trim work, and a lining like you wouldn’t believe. Beautiful simplicity at it’s finest!

incotex

If you’re looking for a trouser that is trimmer, yet classically elegant, Incotex is a great option. Everything from the fabrics, to the split waistband, to the beautiful cotton linings are all things never overlooked. We’ve been getting the flannels in, and below is a unique black/grey/brown cross-check that just hit the floor!

Here’s a quick photo of Jim with Luciano Barbera’s own Michael Sestak in July at the MRket show in New York.

And again, with Giorgio Canali.
